Legal Framework
Terms of Service
Last Updated: October 2024. Please read these terms carefully before authorizing agentic workflows.
01. Definition of Service
Shutter Sync provides an agentic social media automation platform specifically tailored for high-end photography portfolios. Our "agents" are autonomous software processes that curate, caption, and schedule visual content across supported platforms.
By using Shutter Sync, you acknowledge that the service leverages advanced AI to interpret your archival collections and suggest engagement strategies that mirror professional gallery standards.
02. User Responsibilities
- verified_user Account Ownership: You must own or have legal rights to all visual assets uploaded or linked to Shutter Sync. We do not claim ownership of your intellectual property.
- fact_check Approval Mandate: Shutter Sync operates on a "Human-in-the-Loop" model. While agents draft content, the final approval of any social media post rests solely with the user. Failure to review a draft does not transfer liability for its content to Shutter Sync.
03. The 'Pocket Change' Philosophy
Shutter Sync is built on an accessible economic model. We believe professional automation should cost no more than the 'pocket change' leftover from a production shoot. Our pricing is transparent, usage-based, and designed to scale with your career, not deplete your margins.
"Automation should be an invisible utility, priced like the air in your tires—essential but nearly free."
04. API Compliance
Shutter Sync integrates with third-party platforms, including but not limited to Meta (Instagram/Facebook) and SmugMug. Your use of these integrations is subject to their respective Terms of Service:
Shutter Sync is not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party API changes or account restrictions imposed by these platforms.
05. Liability for Autonomous Actions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shutter Sync and its agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from the autonomous curation of content. This includes, but is not limited to, unintentional copyright infringement, algorithmic shadow-banning, or public relations disputes arising from approved captions.
The agent is a tool, not a curator with legal standing. Responsibility for the "voice" of your brand remains with you.
